Now if only you could capture that feeling on your camera, showcase it on social media, and make your audience drool over what you’re about to dive into teeth-first... This is how to capture your consumers. As a food and beverage business owner, one of the most important ways to grow your business is by establishing yourself and your brand as a wholistic lifestyle. We started our school year with Defining Your Mission and Core Values. Now, how do we bring those values to life? What type of person buys into you, your product? How do you attract them? Industry Expert Kathleen is the Director of Connection at Cureate, facilitating Vendor Onboarding & Engagement. She also works as a Baltimore Cureator, overseeing our Buyer Partner accounts in Baltimore City Metro Area. Kathleen is also the Founder of SweetLeenie, a field marketing and local business advocacy organization. She is passionate about creativly curating a new system for us to #shiftthedollar back into our local economies. School of Food is a year-long business training program for food and beverage entrepreneurs. Our personalized curriculum takes current and future food business owners on a journey that begins with the basics of defining your mission and unique value proposition; moves into the nitty-gritty of running a food business (like financial forecasting and health regulations); and ends with all the fun stuff you need to know when going to market, such as distribution, social media and marketing. We partner with industry experts to lead discussions around our outlined semester themes, and break into interactive activities for students to walk-away with tangible next steps. Students can participate in individual workshops or sign up for an SOF Passport which gives them unlimited access to every workshop, panel discussion, and networking opportunity we offer for a full year — plus other perks.
