Tom Rush
Saturday, March 20, 2021, 7:30 PM
The American folk and blues singer, now in his eighth decade, is credited by "Rolling Stone" as a prototype of the American singer/songwriter. He got his start in the coffeehouses of Cambridge, Mass., when he was an undergraduate at Harvard - at the same time Bob Dylan was prowling the clubs of Greenwich Village. In addition to performing his own compositions, Rush sang songs by Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and James Taylor, helping them to gain recognition early in their careers.
