PROFESSIONAL TRAINING                                               6.0 CEUs for: SWs, RNs, Case Managers, MDs **This Training provides 2 hours LGBTQ for DC licensed SWs, RNs and MDs and 4 hours of Ethics for DC and MD licensed SWs LGBTQI+ individuals are more likely to experience healthcare access-related challenges and profound disparities in care. These challenges add to prevailing patterns of individual and structural trauma and are further complicated by the culture of healthcare and the dominant medical model that edits out the personal details of the individual receiving care. She has participated in a CSWE-sponsored National Trauma Task Force work-group that focused on the intersection of ethics and trauma-informed practice.
