Wednesday, May 1, 2019, 3:30 PM

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine has convened a committee of experts to conduct a study that will review the U.S. bioeconomy, assess opportunities, and consider strategies to protect its intangible assets (such as data and intellectual property), while sustaining innovation. This committee of experts will be meeting for their third public meeting on May 1st. Please join us for a series of discussions covering the impact of big data within the life sciences, how to protect and share large aggregated datasets and the new challenges of a cyber-enable bioeconomy. Additionally, the committee will hear about trade, standards, and international agreements and their potential impact on growth within the bioeconomy. Please note that the time is subject to change.
