FAQs What positions is this event targeting? ORA's main target is in the scientific field, which include the following positions: Consumer Safety Officer, Lab Analysts which include: Chemists, Microbiologists, and Biologists ORA is also looking to fill positions in the following categories: Management/Program Analyst and Criminal Investigator Grade levels: GS-7/9/11/12/13 These positions will be filled nationwide throughout ORA’s 19 district offices, 13 laboratories, and in Rockville, MD. Please click on the positions above to be directed to Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification standards. Will interviews take place during the event? No, we will not be holding any interviews during this event. What can I bring into the event? Resume; supporting documentation (i.e. DD-214, transcripts) Will you allow walk-ins on the day of the event? Depends. If we reach capacity, we will not be able to accomodate walk-ins. It is highly recommended all attendees register beforehand. Will food and/or drinks be served? The Marriott has food and drinks available for purchase in the lobby area. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is free parking available to guests. Closest metro station: Shady Grove Metro. Taxi/Uber/Lyft available.
