Earth Keepers - Kinder Gardening
ABOUT THE FARM EXPERIENCE: Up to 10-12 neurodiverse child-parent pairs are invited to participate in this inclusive journey in nature and with animals for children ages 3-7 (neurotypical & atypical**). By integrating children with all levels of neurodiversity at early ages, they become more accepting & tolerant of differences, compassionate, and understanding. Being outdoors in nature helps children become desensitized to sounds, smells, textures, temperatures, and other stimuli. Caring for and interacting with gentle, hand-raised domesticated animals teaches emotional control, compassion, empathy, and life skills. Learning about the linkages between the environment, our food sources, our gut microbiome, and our physical health through the act of composting can be richly rewarding on many levels. Through hands-on activities on the farm with peers and parents, children develop an improved sense of self while doing meaningful, purposeful work, learning practical life skills, and enjoying healthy social experiences. REGISTRATION: Contact 7thGenerationFoundation@gmail.com to receive an EventBrite invitation or see: www.Facebook.com/TheDreamCatcherFarm.
