Contemplative Improv

Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 2:30 AM

Join Caroline Pettit for a fun-filled evening of being fully present through improvisation. Many of us are familiar with contemplative practices on the "stillness" and "movement" branches of the Tree of Contemplative Practices, such as meditation, yoga or Qigong. Come experience a practice from the "creative" branch where we'll engage with one another in relational exercises that challenge us to stay alert and present, all while having fun and getting a solid dose of the best medicine, laughter. This class is designed to be enjoyed by those with absolutely no experience in improvisation but will also be a fun challenge for anyone with more experience. Come in comfortable clothes and be prepared to move around and interact with others in the class.  Registration required, dana (generosity) based.
