People and Stories: Reading Deeply in Community
You don’t have to love reading to enjoy a great story. People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos adult literature program comes to Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Neighborhood Library. This unique reading and discussion group brings community together for a deep exploration of short stories. The stories cover a broad range of topics. We invite you to bring your own perspective to this eight-session program. Your opinions, insights, and life experiences are valued and encouraged! In each session, a short story will be read aloud, followed by a discussion about the story that focuses on connections between the text and participants’ own lives. Attendees do not have to prepare for the program in any way.
