Joey Weisenberg Community Workshop hosted by Fabrangen Havurah
Fabrangen Havurah is delighted to host Joey Weisenberg for a singing community workshop on Sunday, December 2nd. Joey Weisenberg is the author of Building Singing Communities and The Torah of Music, winner of a 2017 National Jewish Book Award. He is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer, who has performed and recorded internationally with dozens of bands in a wide variety of musical styles. Joey works to empower communities to cherish their imperfectly beautiful music, to unlock their musical and spiritual potential, and to make music a lasting and joy-filled force in Jewish life. This workshop is for singers and non-singers, as well as service leaders. Those of us who have attended Joey's workshops have found them worthwhile, inspirational, and fun. Here's a link to his website where you can learn about some of his compositions, his award-winning books, etc. https://joeyweisenberg.com/site/ Wisconsin Place Community Center is wheelchair accessible and approximately two blocks from the Friendship Heights Metro.
