Heart to Heart Orchestra at the Kennedy Center
Founded in 2006, Heart to Heart Orchestra provides music education opportunities to young people with developmental disabilities and works to increase overall public access to great music. The orchestra has successfully performed worldwide for more than 10 years to improve social understanding for and of people with disabilities.
The orchestra has performed on prestigious stages, including at the Seoul Arts Center, and toured internationally in the United States and Canada. With inspiring performances that transcend the notion of individual challenges and a commitment to enhance social inclusion of people with disabilities, the orchestra has communicated and connected with audiences from all walks of life. The orchestra performed on tour in Los Angeles and Chicago in 2008 and Vancouver, Canada in 2017, while also collaborating with art groups in Korea and around the world.
